I really think this phone (C3-01)is a good replacement for my Nokia 5630.. Loved the fact that it has a steel finish !
But can anyone tell me what is the use of RAM and ROM in these mobiles... I mean 64 MB RAM and 128 MB ROM ??
what difference does it make.... does it make the phone faster... with no lags ?

Nokia C3-01 is much better in specs and looks than the X3-02 !!!

On the Nokia site (.co.uk), on the specs page, it also says that it has USB OTG (On-The-Go) just like the Nokia N8 (meaning that using a usb-micro-usb cable it can read an external mamory drive like a flash-pen drive or a card reader. that is very interesting

Put away your prejudice on Nokia and take a look again.
Secondly,
For those who are saying that this is a crap phone and you can get a better phone in this price range, keep in mind these points:
- Design, the definition of beauty varies across person. If think that it doesn't looks great, it doesn't means that other people in the rest of the world will think the same
- Simplicity. Not everyone want a complicated smartphone. Some just want a easy to use, lag-free, hang-free feature phone that does what they want. A majority of my friend don't even know how to search for an app and never thought to do so. For them, phone are just phone. So if you are a power user, look else where, this is not for you, but doesn't means that is should be cease of existance, there is other human being out there.

nokia shud develop this type of phone with full qwerty type & also optical trackpad with s60 os. Or develop e72 more like that

This phone is a beauty, 5mp camera too, and flash all there... What about the specs though: talk time in 2G shorter than in 3G? This is surely some mistake? But the phone really looks great, hopefully keypad is comfortable too. And it's not Symbian, that hopefully means less bugs and crashes. I'm waitin eagerly to see the real thing!:)

this phone is a junk. Even though its cam is 5mp , the display is 256k, its an s40, its a waste of money.

The colors used for display is insufficient(required 16 million) and the video fps should be increased from 15 to 30 The competition is tightening in mobile market and Nokia should foresee the latest trends.

The best of this phone is the simple menu, there isnt symbian but s40!!! Thats the better thing for this midrange phone!

Lovely Phone with Amazing specification and price.
But i get SHOCKED when i see its a S40 Phone ......!
Nokia Did a stupid Job by giving it With S40.
This type of phone must come with S60 Symbian OS.

Customer will think this phone is perfect for them. But as u can see, Nokia provide crap phone, and only person like u will buy this phone..poor you, don't be so naïf. With that price you will get better phone out there.

C3-01 may well be an innovation in Nokia S40 series.
As I am saying, this is not even sold to public and tested its features and performance and yet people are already complaining that this is crap and Nokia is no good. Oh come on! Be realistic...

simple,practical,superb,tasteful,metallic,slim and sexy. the next star after 6300,6500,6700 range. i love it. i have money prepared to take n8 , but i die after this model. a pure pedigree,a real nokia as we know for years.
