I miss my N900. 😔

    Still using N900 as second phone on 2024. WhatsApp, Telegram, and Skype still work via xmpp. More than 10 years using android, for typing/chat purposes a virtual keyboard is never better than a physical keyboard. at least for me.. ;)

      I still have mine. The best phone. Use it occasionally though but still the best. Maemo 5 is just awesome.

        compare to the latest phone now, can't even survive for 3 to 5yrs, but this 1 more than 10yrs and it is still surviving!

          Its 2023 and am still running on my maemo powered Nokia N900 this is a memory lane. I love having it

                I got this one, very good for my collection

                  Pac-Man on this phone was the s#it. i LOVE this phone. i love how clean the design is, how nice the keyboard was, the screen was great, the OS was great, battery life was nice and the camera was good. i played Pac-Man on this so much when i was younger. i still have it. This was my dad's phone

                          1. full pentesting suite for the Nokia N900 from pwnie express, instal this firmware (hacker phone)
                          2. internal 32gb & sd card available
                          3. battery removable
                          4. browser micro b (mozilla) and have flash player 9.4 include
                          5. you can instal many os (android, meego, maemo leste)
                          6. have bluetooth, wifi, infrared, fm radio, and gps

If you are still daily driving it you should really think about switching to Android or iOS. Trust me I really wanted them to be relevant but I guess it was not meant to be.

Since I left Android for it, I see no reason to go back to Android as my daily driver. I just couldn't see the appeal of Android anymore.

                                        I had this phone (and still do...). It could do EVERYTHING and could've been sooo much more. Just as soon as it was announced Nokia gave up on it and Maemo 5 and moved on to MeeGo. Ultimately, instead of siding with Android, it was allowed to be gobbled up by Microsoft and the Windows Mobile platform and we all know what happened after that... Just like BlackBerry, Nokia had some really small thinkers running the company. Refusing to adapt and be flexible. Sad...
