Phone makers poke fun at Apple's iPhone 5s and 5c on Twitter

11 September, 2013

Apple's iPhone 5s and 5c announcement brought on a lot of mockery from other makers, who unleashed all their zingers on Twitter.

Nokia, who started the colorful polycarbonate trend, was blushing after the 5c announcement:

The Finns then took a jab at the gold color of the iPhone 5s:

Denny's also had something to say about the gold option:

Windows Phone (now best buddies with Nokia) listed the things Apple didn’t announce – a big screen, manual controls and a 41MP camera.

"8MP is still 8MP" continues to say Windows Phone:

HTC chimes in that 15% bigger pixels isn't much:

Motorola remembered the fingerprint thing isn't new:

ColorWare, known for painting the iPhone among others, suggested new colors are no big deal. Still, the company says it will be painting the new iPhone 5s and is investigating whether painting the fingerprint sensor enhanced Home button will be possible.

Even individuals took to Twitter to try their hands at standup comedy, pointing out the holes in the iPhone 5c may not be great:

In case you missed it, here's the gist of Apple's event.
