PlayStation 4 Remote Play coming to PC and Mac

Prasad, 27 November, 2015

Sony is bringing the much requested Remote Play functionality to your desktop computer. Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony's Worldwide Studios for Sony Computer Entertainment Inc., said on Twitter that the company plans to bring the functionality to the PC and Mac and that it is working on an official application.

The Remote Play functionality on the PlayStation 4 allows you to play PS4 games by streaming them to your PS Vita, PlayStation TV or select Xperia devices. But people have been asking to be able to play their PS4 games on the PC or Mac by streaming it over a local connection. With the release of the Remote Play app on the desktop, you will be able to do just that, so you no longer have to wait for the TV be available for you to play and can just start your computer and play on that instead.

Sony did not reveal any dates as to when this app will be released.

Ugh Sony started backward compatibility on consoles with the PS2, it's only natural for them to offer it again especially if that's what their users want.

We prefer pay a little more and have better graphics with remasters (and maybe native 1080p?)

Nothing wrong with that. But i dont think it would be as good as xbox one streaming to PC. Xbox One streaming is best streaming game service i have ever used.
