Purported blurry image of Moto X (2015) appears on Twitter

14 June, 2015

An alleged blurry image of the unannounced Moto X (2015) made the rounds on Twitter. The successor of the Moto X (2014) is expected to debut at some point this summer.

The image is likely a press render of the device and surely doesn’t impress with quality. However, it does reveal that the next Moto X will feature a different LED flash arrangement on the back compared to the current model’s ring setup. The signature dimple on the back for the product family will also make it to the new model.

The front of the upcoming third-generation Moto X features two speaker grilles. We hope that the device will indeed pack stereo speakers, not a mono one like the 2014 model. Motorola’s glance notifications will also be on board.

Moto X (2015) has been in the rumor mill on a few occasions already with the model name XT1542. Its rumored specs include Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 5.2” QHD display, 16MP main camera, and 5MP front-facing unit.

I second that my man - i missed out on the X2014, so i would really love the x2015 model - and here's hoping that they give the option for expandable storage this time - something i thought was really lacking on the previous models
