Purported image of Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 frame leaks

Xiaomi’s upcoming budget level smartphone Mi Note 2 has hardly been a well kept secret. A purported image of the Redmi Note 2’s blue frame was captured recently. The image seems to have been taken at a testing area, probably within one of Xiaomi's factories. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will be released as Hongmi Note in China region.

We reported about Xiaomi’s roadmap involving some key product releases this year. As per that roadmap, Redmi Note 2 will feature 5.5” 720p display and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8919 chipset with quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU.

This handset will feature 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front snapper. These core specifications appear to be a worthy improvement over the Redmi Note 4G.
