i dont care about this crazy test. iphone is the best mobile phone in the planet.. and it will be
i want to have apple phone in my hand, and i hate to have somegthing in my hand that is like the previous version of iphone.
it is one year that samsung starts sucking apple phones, apple ipads and apple ios.. it is just copying and the thing that is imprtant is : WHO MAKE IT FOR THE FIRST TIME? and the answer is steve jobs and his company.

Sanjeet Singh, 22 Jan 2011I have galaxy S, and I am fully satisfied with the phone, I... morehmmm... i don't think iphone4 is superb against samsung s. in hong kong, i bought my samsung s at 4988 hk dollars. iphone4 has the same price. but just because the iphone4 phones had higher sales than the samsung galaxy s, they try to jump up the price to 6,900 hk dollars. i tried to compare both of them and it showed very clearly that the samsung galaxy s had much more of the advantage in terms of display, user friendly, weight, upgradable "external memory", processing speed, etc.. people buying iphone 4s doesn't seem to know what the potentials of what a samsung s is all about. they just purchase iphone 4 because its the "in thing" .. oh well.. too bad. my suggestion : try to browse through youtube.com and search for samsung galaxy s vs iphone 4. thats where you will see all the difference. btw, samsung galaxy s is in android 2.2 version now. more faster than the 2.1!

sgs is cheap, yet delivered a wonderful product. if it is priced the same as iphone, apple will shit bricks. yes, sgs's audio is similar or same as iphone...cant really see/hear the diffrnce. (i used ipod touch, not iphone..but dey hav d same music player, ryt? ) so, dats it. if u have money, get apple. if u have a limited budget, sgs is the best choice. well, i hav money yet i bought sgs...already hav itouch. wats s point. ryt?

I have galaxy S, and I am fully satisfied with the phone, It is a nice ph with brilliant display, But I guess, it will be unfair for it to compare it with I phone, I phone 4 is a class apart...different story altogether, I phone is a separate and a higher level

few quick point
1. my sgs survived a 5 feet drop on concrete without a single scratch, evebthough it landed straight on the bottom right corner
2. mp3 of sgs is better, wider range of notes and it also goes louder, stonger base
3. iphone and sgs cam are same, advantage to iphone because of the flash
4. iphone is faster at running app, but changing between apps is easier on sgs
5. iphone has a brighter screen but sgs has better contrast, depending on how you see it one is better than the other
all in all, both are the best phones out there, with the sgs being slightly better, whilst being way cheaper, iphone was literaly twice as much as a sgs here un holland when.comparing the prices when they both got out for the first time

Recently I bought a SGS for my brother, a way of checking the SGS quality before deciding to buy a new phone for myself. Currently I have iPhone 3, I like it and hate it. What I hate most with iPhone is iTunes sync, very frustrating and very slow. The other thing I hate with iPhone is there is no flashplayer support. You don't have to jailbreak SGS to get that.
One other bad thing I notice is that the only single button at the bottom part of the iPhone will become difficult to operate. You have to push it hard to cancel or stop an application. I guess in the months to come, that button on my iPhone will no longer work, which means I have to buy a new phone (maybe not from Apple anymore). With SGS there are three buttons at the bottom and you do not have to push hard to operate them. Which means they will work until the death of your phone.
In a phone store I compared the 'retina' resolution of an iPhone 4 in that store with that of SGS. I am very much impressed with SGS screen sharp resolution.
Some comments say audio quality of SGS is less than iPhone 4. Well, I went to phone store another day and I could hardly see the difference between the audio quality of SGS and iPhone 4.
Plastic cover of SGS may be the minus aspect for some, but given the price of SGS, someone has to think to go for high price phone which offers no much extra benefits like iPhone 4.
People said that iPhone 4 can only use smal sim card; well, you need to consider this if you already have the standard sized simcard.
And of course you have the freedom in SGS to buy extra SD cards to enjoy your other music, photo and video albums. You cannot enjoy such luxury with iPhone with fixed storage. You need to iTune sync which means you have to get through frustration ... and what if you change your computer?
Another reason to bye SGS for my brother is because he does not have access to computer for sync. With SGS he can send his music and other files from his old phone to his new SGS using bluetooth. He can even delete his music on SGS, you cannot do that with iPhones.
Recently I went overseas and put local simcard into my iPhone. I do not know why, but some cards from certain network cannot be used in my iPhone; i.e I could not call people from my iPhone. I used my nokia phone and I was out of frustration. This happened three times I went overseas. And only recently I realised that bluetooth in my iPhone only pair with bluetooh of other iPhone. Very frustrating. Is this the case for iPhone 4 ?
SGS has a larger screen compared to iPhone and I like this.
As far as I know, you do not have to use Samsung Kies software to fill your SGS with your files. Using the SGS cable, you can simply drag-drop the files you want from your computer to SGS. You can even create your subdirectory in your SD Card and you can easily move your files from one subdirectory to another. You cannot do that in your iPhone.
I still like my current iPhone 3 until it dies ... but when it finally says goodbye to me ... I will not replace it with its grandchild iPhone 4. I will certainly consider SGS or perhaps HTC Desire HD.

Get a voodoo lag fix (cures all lag), download launcher pro (launcher pro plus if you want to pay, adds extra widgets) (makes scrolling extra smooth and adds features), download an app called tasker (makes the phone fully automatic) look up wikitude drive (currently available depending on country). Plus regarding the music, download Playerpro, this in my experience is as good if not better than the itouch. Now tell me that ANY iphone can even come close to this phone. My Galaxy S is amazing, literally amazing. Plus get a Casemate tough case (play dot com around a tenner) and you've got a super smart phone thats incredibly durable (one user reported of a 7ft drop with no damage).
Also, regarding this review. Where did you get your information about the screen?? It really made me question the accuracy of this review, the Galaxy S has a screen coated in Gorilla glass. The screen is virtually unscratchable (unless using a razor blade). Have a look on youtube, some koreans fully test it (using sharp objects). Quite a big thing to miss out considering you gave that section to the iphone. Do your homework tbh if your gonna review these giants.

I believe this review pushed me to buy the SGS and I regret it honestly!

After reading pretty much every thing going about Galaxy S and i-Phone I went for the Galaxy.I just felt Apple were charging for the name rather than any clear advantage,just like German car makers.I really don't think that in the real day to day usage these phones get, it's worth paying the not inconsiderable extra costs (i-tunes) just to say you have an i-Phone.But hey-ho The Emperors New Clothes has always been a fact of life when it comes to the buying public.
