Samsung S7230E Wave 723 review: Waving Hello!

08 November 2010
It’s been smooth sailing for Samsung’s Bada OS and the Samsung S7230E Wave 723 is one of the first of the lineup aimed at the mass market. But beware, this smartphone may change the way you perceive feature phones forever...

      Are you kidding me? :O
In Vodafone PT online store you can buy this phone for 189,90€ without any contract. xD
GSM Arena is to biased towards Nokia. Nokia was and continues behind other mobile phone manufactures. Open your eyes people! Nokia devices are super over-priced but no one mentions it. But not in over-pricing the phones Nokia is the best, Apple wins here.
Although original price of Samsung devices may be a little too high, month later price drops and excellent phones become affordable, just like Samsung S8000 Jet, Samsung M8800, Samsung M8910, Samsung S8300, etc.

Max, 09 Nov 2010It was somehow surprising review to me. While I was expect... moreThey are not really the same size SAMOLED are they. And besides, both of the devices have halted production due to shortages.

In any case, this device here really sounds like a polished turd to me. An unsupported OS on mediocre hardware from a Manufacturer known for not supporting devices. I spell disaster.

It was somehow surprising review to me.
While I was expecting simply a "Negative" review but Wave 723 managed to place it slef as a upper mid-ranger and considering specs,I think connectivity features are the major reason.
All in all Bada is doing impressive(Exclude Samsung's decision about decreasing S8500 production to increase Galaxy S inventory.Less S8500 = More Super AMOLED to ramp up I9000 production)and will see exceptional gains in 2011.

I have to say...... please do not mention full flash support in the first page of the review. The flash fails most of the time on the latest flash videos. Please also mention that the bada apps cannot multitask and no apps can be run in the background except the music player.

Even nokia's ultra low end & cheap 5250 has cool nHD resol in a tiny 2.8 inch screen..

In an touch screen phone display and its resolution is more importent, lacking it not justifiable.. All Samsung's low end and midrange phones suffer from it..:'(

They make it sound like this has replaced the original Bada phone, but it has not, Mobile-review had the successor and original compared.
