Will there be hdmi mirroring like the one we've seen on optimus 2X?
and what's wrong with the benchmarking?

me, 19 Apr 2011well for starters a fanboy will always be a fanboy ..so no ... morei cant wait to have my hands on this monster!!!! enjoyed my wave but its time to move on to bigger and better things. Dare i say best for the year!
and to all the haters, why dont you just look at the spec, set your priorities and pick your choice. no need to bash around on what other people find more appealing. You want your iphone get one and enjoy its beauty and flaws. There are limitations to all things, just like how there are (lots) of limitations in iphones, so are sammy's new monster. As long as its not a deal breaker for me. I find the new look rather appealing especially the back. Hmmm caught my fancy cant explain why. Its a matter of tastes and priorities. Just like my previous phones, i just do follow a checklist and the one with most checks gets my cash. simple! Now all im waiting is for the price and the release date!!!

I have a problem concerning MHL port, currently, if I am not mistaken, ANY television have MHL functionality, then , it is not possible to charging the SGS2 via this way, except by using an adapter, moreover which is the cable who can be connected on Smartphone, a micro USB connected at the phone side but on which port of the HDTV, does the mirroring work, currently, without the MHL technology on the HDTV?

This phone does look great and the specs are off the chart but why o why does it have to be a 4.3in screen. I know its really slim but it would be like like carrying round a mini tablet all day long. I cant see myself buying a phone with a larger screen than 4in. Oh well hope they bring out a decent mini version! and soon cos im due an upgrade now!

Fongy, 20 Apr 2011and again.. I'll echo what I said previously on this thread... moreWhat's the use of so many apps but most of it are not really practical? Besides, what ever apps AppleOS has, the droid can have it too and equally good or even better. Apple's success is very much contributed to its design, but as for technologies and components wise, it's all rely(or copied from?) on Samsung. Won't you honestly admit that Apple is merely a toy which you have already got addicted to? Oh why o why... so many people willingly paid that over-priced tag and got their brains washed.

AnonD-252, 20 Apr 2011Aluminium is a lot heavier than plastic, and it is studpid ... moreSaying that plastic is "strong enough" is like saying that a cloth interior in a Rolls Royce is good enough. Come on (wake up!), plastic is what you use in cheap phones. Considering that this is a range topping smartphone, it should be made from some quality materials. Nokia started using aluminium in their high end phones, why can't Samsung do the same... and don't say that it will make the phone heavy and stuff, its not like an aluminium casing will double it's weight.

I'm not even going to bother to reply to all that other junk in your comment.

and again.. I'll echo what I said previously on this thread..
                                        I have a Galaxy S - it's excellent, best phone I've ever had...
I look at the iphone 4 and despite poorer specs - it's an infinitely better experience, it doesn't crash (mine does) it has AMAZING apps (retro games, shop apps, quirky, something for everyone) - 1000s more than android or W7 or symbian...
                                        And this is my point..
What's the point of a phone that has AMAZING specs (dual core, 4.3", speedy OS, etc.) if the apps, etc. are lacking - if the technology isn't being supported by developers?
It's all very well having a powerful phone, and I love dragging and dropping and watching films, emulators, etc. on mine...
but as an experience, it's not a patch on an iphone...
                                        And so...
where do these technologically fantastic phones go if developers don't support them?
