Messaging in Xperia-ray is poor and confusing since does have a seprate received and sent icons/slots.the draft,sent and receieved messages are in a single slot which is a big let down, i am repenting for buying xperia ray.

No dedicated camera key.. turn down.. and no flash.. again a turn down on such a great phone.. Checked this phone for about an hour in the show room and finally opted for xperia active instead..

Why does the review state that talk and standby times are superior in 3G rather than 2G, this seems to contradict every other review I've ever read. I was under the impression that 3G saps battery power compared to 2G, hence the availability of apps which allow you to switch off 3G to conserve battery...

Great phone. Powerful inside, sleek and pocketable on the outside. Looks like the ideal successor to my Diamond2. :)
I'm wondering about the texture of the back cover. Black version seems to be matte, rubberized (which I'd like), while red or gold versions look glossy (which I wouldn't like). Anyone can verify this?
