What happened to the audio test in this review? Why is it missing?

I am mulling around which phone to get, did want the Samsung until I saw how big it actually was, now considering the Amaze, but I am seeing conflicting info on the Gorilla Glass, Corning doesn't have the Amaze listed as being one of the models that has GG. Does it say in the literature that comes with the phone that it does indeed have it? I'm worried about it shattering if I should happen to drop it.

"Remember the death grip issues which the latter had? They’re gone here thanks to the installation of the device’s antennas in the plastic parts of the back. This is actually the reason why plastic has been used in the phone’s body."
I'm sorry but I don't get this. Wasn't this the same with the Sensation ? antennas in the plastic parts of the back ?
- 2011-10-23 16:08
wat abt the 4.0 ?
- 2011-10-23 04:47
Amaze how its battery goes flat.
Ah, HTC when you gonna learn that your heavy software(UI and etc) makes the phone constantly lagging like hell and dries up the battery freaking fast.
peaple it's a phone thar you gonna carry around during a day, unless youre just a geek playing game on a mobile phone in his room all day and never goes out a date lol

Whatever happened to the beloved frequency response graphs?
- 2011-10-21 07:53
I can NOT wait to see how well this phone performs on the all the benchmarks once HTC puts their (2)Sense on Ice Cream Sandwich and updates this bad boy with them! Such powerful hardware and high screen resolution makes battery life one of my primary concerns with the Amaze, but these updates should improve that as well.
The only other "disadvantages" include: the MicroSD slot being under the cover, but still hotswappable; the smaller, higher resolution screen not "on par" simply because it isn't Samsung's SuperAMOLED Plus; its weight, which seems well worth it for the superior materials used in its build quality; and finally its lack of headphones, which is most likely due to the fact that HTC's Sensation XE comes with some of the best headphones for free.
If these are the only "drawbacks" then sign me up! This already awesome phone will surely be (one of) the best on the market, especially when aforementioned software changes are applied. Exciting times ahead for HTC Amaze owners!

Nokia easily could bring HCT to court for copying C7/701 design.

I don't think gsmarena has ever given due value to HTC products. Sense 3.0+ is light years ahead of the customizations available on other phones. Samsung UI is downright ugly, so is LGs. Also simple customizations such as the phone dialer is more intuitive than any other competitor and same goes for its on-screen keyboard. How is it that none of this is ever mentioned in any of your reviews. Lastly, nobody makes phones as beautiful as HTC. Their build quality is unparalleled. Their unibody designs are as strong as horses. These are as important as the underlying hardware.
