iphone 4s with a gpu which is 2x times more powerful than galaxy s2, with a lot better image and video quality than s2, fastest camera startup , one of the best signal reception , best audio quality and with a platform supporting a extremely huge amount of quality apps and games this is the best smartphone so far.

I don't like the way they changed the camera in the 4S. The iPhone 4 camera had natural noise, more like film grain rather than digital artifacts, whereas the 4S now looks very processed. The pics have weird digital noise and are overly sharpened. In my opinion, they look much worse than the N9 images in the photo comparison tool. The N9 images are detailed without having been overly sharpened and have a natural film grain type of noise, which is much more uniform and pleasant-looking.

Those phones have been released ages ago. 4S was released just 1-2 weeks back. Yet, check the post count in those forums. About 1400 posts and about 93000 views just within 1 week. There are many more links which you can search. Just few days back phone arena ran a poll about this. Many users complaining about slow performance. Infact GS2 browser running on 1 year old old GB is smoother than 4S. There are countless posts saying iOS5 is very slow. Don't believe me, just try searching with "slow" as keyword only in thread titles. Don't take my word, go to the forums and check out yourself.

i think GSMarena just said what they just experience with iphone4s based on thier expectation...there is nothing bias here...i believe iphone/iOS is the best combo simply because apple control the dev of these...including the spec that will be included...for me i will choose iphone over android/HTC,samsung,motorola etc if apple will lower thier price & enable SD card & usb/bluetooth file transfer...until then its a no for me for iphone...by the way i am using an android phone(HD2 w/ custom ROM) before anyone of you would say i am bias

Lots of Android fanboys butthurt by a simple review.
Small group of SGS2 owners proud of their fast car, then suddenly Apple unleashes Ferraris to the masses. Must be so frustrating to Android owners, for so many casual users to have such a powerful phone that even does more.
Relax guys, that's the nature of competition. No doubt Android will then overtake iPhone, then iPhone 5 comes out etc etc.
Enjoy the phone that's best for you. iPhone 4S for me. Maybe something else for you. We should be free to choose.

I hate to argue with gsmarena but I'd say I also feel that their review is biased.
they said "If you want to have the best possible audio output on your cell phone get an iPhone"
looking at their audio test graph the line is the same as Elm/Hazel. so how can they say iPhone is the best?
" The colors are vibrant and accurate, there are no artifacts."
you can easily see on their sample photos film grain even on the sky.
and lol it's the first time iv'e seen the main advantages so many when all they did was write the iPhone specs with a little addition here and there to make it look like the iPhone does have a lot of advantage =P.
phrases like "get an iPhone" should not be in reviews, they should be criticizing the phone in reviews not advertise it...

I guess all we need is the iphone, since no one seems to be interested in other phones. They might as well be the only phone company, it just seems like no matter what they do people will buy their products no matter what.
Everyone seems to disregard other brands as being tacky, copycats and most of all a poor mans version of the iphone. Needed to vent, somewhere.

Blissful ignorance. ip4s is the best phone. It's not even match the top 5, if you would like to be fair and honest. Do not give anything revolutionary and system is completely closed. Interesting in America which admires and respects the openness of this system going and glorifies the closed system. Of course, who buy the phone has to be pleased with him. But the truth is that the HTC, Samsung, Motorola, LG with Android are fortunate. Both systems can be evaluated only by person who uses the phone with both; iOS and Android.

I remember that Arena managed to review the SG2 nearly 3 months after the phone had been released! Now they already reviewed the iphone bearly days after it's launch,and despite all of it's restrictions whitch usually mattered for Arena,they suggest the iphone is the best! To remove eny suspicion of biasness,they should do a head to head comparance review(like they did with SG1 and iphone4) of the iphone4s,SG2 and maybe N9,in which they should explain in detail the reasons that makes them to believe the iphone is the best! I used to think that Arena is an unbias site...and I don't want to believe they changed their policy!...

On BrowserMark benchmark, my arc posts a score of 61929.
Does it mean that my 1GHz single core phone's browser performance in JavaScript and HTML rendering is on par with dual core droids? Nice score for iPhone though.
On SunSpider my arc posts a score of 3303.1. Oh well.

I got a Galaxy S2 for almost three months now and my previous phone was a Iphone 3gs....my 3gs never missed a beat in 2 years...I know lot of people are glorifying GS2 here and most of them don't even own one....let me tell you what I experienced in last three months with GS2....
1. Front camera for self photo just stopped working.
2. Gets really hot with more than 20 min of talk.
3. when playing music it shuts down and restarts after few songs.
4. when I receive a call while using navigation app it crashes.
5. Build quality is really cheap.
After having all these issues with in three months I don't think I'll ever buy a Samsung junk again. My GF is using a HTC Incredible S which is way better in terms of build quality and reliability.

u guys keep bashing that sgs2 is superfast, who cares? maybe u guys, nobody else cares if u claim android browsers load 2 seconds faster than ios browser, nobody cares if u can insert a microsd card slot in your android phone, nobody cares if you can replace your batteries, nobody cares!!!!!!
we come here to read reviews done by professionals, and read comments by actual users, so we can have a good idea of how good the phone is. so stop hating, and enjoy what you have.
