its absolutely disappointment...
ram 1GB is low ram is should 2 GB
cam is 8MP is SOULD 12MP
GPU is mali 400 is old
in short it is disappointment...

The problem with 'premium' phones, let's take the iphone 4 or 4S for example...
How many of you use them without a protective? Honestly? And not just a silly see-through one or a cheap silicon gel one... but a proper PROTECTIVE case? I'd say at least 50%...
And why do you need such a protective case? Because glass smashes so easily... my friend dropped her iphone 4S getting out of the car, it had a cheap case on it - the entire back was smashed...
Then of course there's the weight issue - iphone 4S for 3.5" (yes tiny screen) is incredibly weighty... imagine it on a 4"+ screen?
That is why iphone 5 is rumoured to move away from glass and back to metal... more robust... but even then, this will come at a price...
And the GS3 will be no different, we're still going to get a case for it... we still want to protect it... it just means that you can get a thinner case and a funkier one and it'll still protect your phone better than most iphone cases (excluding otterbox cases which are amazing but really add bulk to your phone)
So there you go...
Stop whinging about plastic... because 75% of you will be getting a case which covers all of it ANYWAY!!! I'm liking the idea of the Samsung flip cases that mean you remove the back and clip it on... pretty funky...
And if you don't... then I suspect your phone won't be lasting longer than 6 months!!!

Samsung disappointed me. They failed to deliver a convenient to usephone
with that big screen. They have the note for big screen.
The awful design is not a major problem

AnonD-49280, 08 May 2012Blimey all these "cheap plastic" comments are alm... moreyour comment is appreciable. If it is good quality plastic it not only reduces weight but also is stronger than metal or glass, in case of shock. HTC One X is a good choice but battery is small, and not changeable. This is the only minus point. Absence of SD card is not a major point as 32 GB is quite a lot of space.

Why does Samsung e... moreBlimey all these "cheap plastic" comments are almost as if Parrots can write stuff on the internet now.Do you really not know what will happen if you drop something covered in glass and something covered in plastic at the same time?
I'll give you a clue,the glass covered one will be covered with cracks and the plastic one won't.
(Ooooopppsss sorry,kind of gave it away didn't I?)
P.S. I'm getting a One X so can sit on the fence with this one.

Plastic plastic plastic, f*** plastic... Why does Samsung ever use plastic, why not aluminium or glass?? Handsets are expensive, and always only plastic :(

Denzo, 06 May 2012Ok I understand this excites you but your excitement maybe ... moreif youve owned a samsung galaxy s2 or note, you will know that samsungs browser is unriveled in the android world for its smoothness, heck its even better than googles own nexus :) plus if you have seen vidz of the galaxy s3 in action you woulve seen how incredibly smooth it is.

Well I expected an array of disappointment to be honest, but on the most part I'm not. Apart from the 4.8" screen being annoyingly big and that home button looking stupidly small and low, there's nothing that annoys me about this - still has the hardware buttons, good screen and looks good (apart from the home button) and spec is obviously very good

Alui, 06 May 2012Does not work with Flash. So ...Dolphin HD on the ONE X does do flash, im pretty sure.
Its ok if im wrong, have you enabled Flash in the settings on Dolphin? (And have you installed Flash 11.0 from the market as well?)

So.. this is what samsung can do for their next galaxy? for truth, that design are ugly. not exactly what i expect from samsung.my galaxy SII design are much better than this. Maybe i will wait for S IV. and i think samsung have to make something like design competition coz i believe there are most creative people out there that can design better than this.
maybe its beast inside with all goodies, but i think the "looks" are the best point to get this phone beats IPhone. :(

while the S3 is impressive what is also worthy of notice is how close the HTV one S came to the two quad core devices in the benchmark runs, imho this quad core stuff for now is purely a mraketing thing, i mean yes you may be future proof and i would not mind a quad core device myself but that proves that dual cores can be almost as gallantly performing as the new crop of quad cores.

I wonder if Samsung would make the software on the GS3 available on the GS2 later on. Especially, S Voice and Smart Stay.
Or maybe we'll have to wait for the mod ROMs.
