Cannot find high-end tablet running Win8RT. Screen alone can keep the users to avoid putting their tablets near iPad and other Android devices. Even the cheap Amazon kindle has full HD display while Google Nexus 10 moves farther to 300ppi.

There is NO such thing as "Windows 8 RT". The proper name of the Windows ARM edition is simply "Windows RT".

What's the point of having it if you cannot run x86.

Oh I was thinking Windows 8 RT will also run native x86 apps (through some layer of conversion).

I think this preview is a bit harsh on the Windows tablet.the features on the Windows tablet are simply amazing and much more practical .1 of the main reasons why I never purchased an iPad was because it was all about fun and games with very little practical useage there is a huge customer face which has been looking for a tablet like this 1 and I can't for see you so fast for this diva .

Great. Microsoft is now serious in tablet too. Recently launched Lumia 920 is an excellent product from spec point off view and most importantly the OS being windows 8

It is the time for Microsoft to provide its customers the useful and powerful products. Windows Phone7 was technically fail because of its usefulness!

Android may not dominant the market anymore unless file management is redesigned, and allows users to install fonts.

I've never been interested in tablets until I heard about Microsoft Surface and now the other Win8 tablets. I hope that they pick up good popularity, I might be getting msyelf one as well (really, really liking the Surface).

Also if Windows Phone 8 also picks up more popularity, I would be loving the good near-seamless co-operation between my home PC, phone and tablet.

In today's technology what good is a super hardware without good optimized software. I just hope win8 rt is built well fit the software.

After releasing Windows 8, Android might be the most painful OS because the huge drawbacks of Android are lack of separate drives between os and user data, unable to install font without root. Who want to use a device that can't use their own language?

Everyone knows that Samsung and HTC have firmly committed themselves to Android devices. However, both these companies appear to be producing Windows devices that will be comparable of not superior to their Android counterparts. The forthcoming Ativ S widows phone from Samsung is at the very least a equal to its S3.

Yeah, I'm going to wait for a tablet with WIN 8 that supports real x86 programs. There's no idea with WIN8 without the x86 support. I want to enjoy free Spotify (for example) and other stuff, that other tablets won't offer.

Android in any version sucks @ss on tablets (I have an Galaxy Tab 10.1 that just recently updated to ICS and it's only decent), it's so bad that even Google acknowledged it.
