Samsung rapidly realise the phone with the knowledge of hitting the market time and again. Plastic casing for such an expensive phone is not cool. Alu casing for durability because the phone is way too expensive

bhp, 18 Mar 2013I love the design and love the fact the phone is made mainl... moresame as how poeple like Quality leather seats on their luxury cars.

since S4 is the top of the line for samsung at least make it worth the price you pay and not on a cheap plastic case.

Sir alfred, 19 Mar 2013What? Is android so bloated that you need 8 cores to run it... moreIf you have a look properlly, you'll notice that they dont work alongside eachother, the Exynos 5 Octa chipset features two processors (which can't operate simultaneously) - a quad-core 1.6GHz ARM Cortex-A15 CPU used for heavier loads and a quad-core 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A7 CPU for lighter tasks. The Exynos 5 Octa also features a tri-core PowerVR SGX544MP3 graphics.

Ive been an android user since its inception. In my opinion, the reason why the android OS lags and WILL lag on every device whether its HTC Sony Samsung etc. is because they are putting shit loads of bloatware in their UI's. And every manufacturer has different UIs there's Sense, Touchwiz etc. Again imo if they are using the ORIGINAL android UI without the bloatware then tweaked it to their device specs i think i would rape the IOS all day.

What? Is android so bloated that you need 8 cores to run it? 1080p video playback, multitasking and casual gaming (touchscreen = casual) are heaviest tasks i can think of, and can be perfectly handled by dualcore on a mobile phone.

This overkilling is just marketing for geeks. I'm an enthusiast too when it comes to desktop computers, but this is just plain useless.

steve, 18 Mar 2013iphone 5 is more like a sII rival. It doesn't even come clo... moresII rival? honestly, tell me why i need 8 cores? heck, tell me why i would even need 4 cores? dualcore Krait is more than enough for any use. iPhone 5 (or even 4S) is far from obsolete too.

Android software is still mainly being developed for SINGLECORE Gingerbread devices. why? because it's STILL the most common Android combination out there. iOS users adopt new OS versions faster, because the support is quaranteed obviously in their own hardware.

so yeah. why the heck would i even need 4 cores when HTC One S and iPhone 5 are totally rocking with only 2 cores? also, i don't want a bigger screen (=bigger phone).

the iPhone 5 doesn't even come close to this handset, that's why it's not compared. We wouldn't want you Apple fanboys crying too much that your overpriced paper weight got owned.... again.

I love the design and love the fact the phone is made mainly with plastic... It keeps the weight down and the heat of the battery not so noticeable when in use... Don't know why people want an aluminum backing on their phones..

For me i kinda like the design of the s4 than the s3. Even its almost similar, theres slight change of shape and the bezels are really thin. I'll definetely goin to buy the black one. I'll just add a really cool looking protective casing for the s4.
