Hi, I have a question about this version as against the international version as I am based in the UK.
I think I am going to get the US unlocked version once it goes on sale after 19th Feb, but I need to know if it will be okay to work on my T Mobile UK network which is 3G.I also hope updates will work well too ?????

Anyone get shipping confirmation? My web page says on or before 2/17... latest email says around 2/17 (but still backordered). What happened to getting the unit before it goes live at retail on 2/19? They slammed Apple saying no standing in long lines.

Is this a ploy to get us to cancel our $18 pre-order upgrade and pay the new $36 upgrade fee at the store?

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-02-12 17:07 from v$CG - click to readThe Difference between Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note I717 is the Chipset used, Galaxy note is Exynos 4210 Dual Core 1.4GHz with Mali400 GPU, and Galaxy Note I717 is Qualcomm MSM8660 Dual Core 1.5GHz with Adreno 220 GPU. This is because (as far as I know) the Exynos chipset is not compatible with LTE radio's used in 4G networks in some parts of the world (the Galaxy Note is not said to be LTE compatible, while the Note I717 is)

I just got this phone 3 weeks ago, and I'm loving it more and more. Though the size of the phone is indeed huge, but I bought it which means I accept that fact.

This phone is awesome. with the 1GB RAM it really makes a difference compared to Galaxy S II. I have not had any issue such as phone hang or restarts on its own like Galaxy S II when i got it for 2 weeks.

The resolution of the screen is beautiful. The camera takes great photos and you only need a few simple steps using the editing tool in this phone to get flawless and basic effects.

The battery life isn't as terrible as some said. I always play around with apps and surf the net and it lasted me for at least 6 hrs with super heavy usage, with lots of applications running. I also tried not using any apps or anything for a day, just sms and a few phone calls, by the end of the day there is still 60% left. For me, with this much resolution and RAM, the battery life is impressive enough.

Basically, this phone is really good. Definitely worth the money. But only if you don't mind a phone that doesn't fit in your pocket.
