Angry Mobile Nerd, 28 Jun 2014Question can anyone with this actual phone in their hands c... moreThe phone is a good phone, unfortunately it only a SK Telecom branded firmware with no international branded firmware. Edge does work, but texts are limited to 160 characters which may be a local Korean restriction. The phone is full of SK Telecom bloatware and I can't seem to find a root kit for his phone. Another not mentioned thing about having a phone with a curved screen is the lack of ability of good viewing if wearing polarised sunglasses but apart from these negatives the phone itself is really good.

Question can anyone with this actual phone in their hands confirm it supports ye old fashion EDGE data?
Not a common find but found one the other day for sale at a very reasonable price but between me, the shop, and even searching online (GSMAren's specs don't count, they've been wrong on numerous counts) nobody could confirm it supports EDGE (The shop didn't want to open the sealed box just to check). I can't find any documentation supporting it does EDGE. I'm speaking from experience because I've had korean phones before and the theme is none of them do EDGE, only ye very old fashion GPRS which turns a stellar (korean) phone into a data snail when you're outside 3G coverage and roaming on 2G.
Much appreciated if someone with the actual phone can confirm this.

Nokia phones specs are not as spectacular as android specs but IT WORKS PRETTY WELL with it. TOO WELL compared to android with the same specs sheet

Aside from that, Nokia makes the worst phones in the world today....who in the world still uses Windows Mobile....when everybody is either on android or ios??

No contest, the feel on your face, the feel in your palm, in your pocket, not to mention the Speed! BAM! Dual action cameras, the look on Note III users faces, PRICELESS! I like how is rocks back and forth when you put it down. Only gripe, wish the back was really leather!

Sure samsung has good hardware, but i just can't stand it's design, i find it so uninspired and bland, the latest Xperia line from Sony is much more stylish, and boasts the same range of hardware specs as samsung... I am a Samsung Fan and not really a Fan of other Mobile phone brands.
Samsung I tell you, is leading in innovation. from nfc, wireless charging, group play features, etc etc. and also the S PEN. (NO OTHER BRANDS HAVE THIS TECH)
the MAIN downside of Samsung is, there are so many new model releases. I cant even enjoy my phone and wanted to buy another new release. It may be their strategy by using the humans innate attitude of being GREEDY. But still even though they release new models frequently you can see the changes. NONE LIKE apple. NO CHANGES> no no no changes. I hate them. very expensive! OMG! waste of money! dont buy apple. LG is also good. but Samsung is better.
