Samsung Galaxy S4 Active on AT&T gets Android KitKat update

The AT&T-bound Samsung Galaxy S4 Active is now receiving the Android 4.4 KitKat update. The update file size varies between 447 MB - 877 MB depending on your current operating system version. At the moment, the new firmware is available over the air only.

Here's what the new update brings to table:

  • Standard Android 4.4 OS features
  • Copy and paste improvements
  • Easier to insert pictures and videos in email or messages
  • Camera app accessibility from the lock screen
  • Call reliability improvements

All the consumers of Samsung Galaxy S4 Active on AT&T will get a prompt to download the update. In case you missed it, you can check for the update manually by visiting Settings > General > About device > Software update > Check for updates.
