Purchased this phone y'day. the only problem is camera quality is not good.
A little heating problem is there while charging, taking pictures, watching videos etc...
Good thing is apps are very fast, can play games with out hanging, Internal memory is showing 5.10 GB. In Micromax HD 116 it will be only 1.7 GB.
I have used Grand earlier, it was huge to keep in pocket, this phone fits perfect in pockets. Go for it.

I am using this phone last 2 weeks.. Great phone nothing issue with this.. speed, camera quality and processing awesome. just go for it instead of Canvas HD

I got this phone today. better than the canvas hd in the sense of company matter. 4.7 inch is enough for this phone. Nd quad core processor is also very good.

Specifications are somewhat confusing. Let me clear those.
Processor - 1.2 ghz quad core Qualcomm 8625Q cpu A-5 chipset
Video - 720x480 pixels D1 recording (not even 720p HD recording i.e. 1280x720 pixels) without autofocus @ 30 FPS (not 15fps)
Rear camera for picture - 5mp with single LED flash. (too much flashy images are clicked when using flash, image quality is same as it was with my 5mp shooter of Samsung Omnia Pro B7610,decent quality)
Dual Sim - only sim support 7.2 mbps 3G. in india it doesn't actually matter because 3G data packs are too costly that you will love your own home wifi connection for heavy downloads and 2G data pack during outdoors for normal surfing. 3Gnetworks aren't spread throughout India/Circle in which you live.
Screen of 4.7inch @199ppi isnt that bad at extreme viewing angles.only if you tilt left top corner extremely.
and Yes! It does lack in Ambient Light sensor. (auto brightness is not present)
well let its price drop down by some more 2-3k in next 2month n then purchase it.it is currently available for 15, 500rs locally with vat paid bill n mfg warranty in mumbai cell phone stores.
otherwise Samsung launches various phones continuously after evry 1quarter. so waiting wouldn't be an option for to-be-in hurry people.go for it. touchwiz is smooth and responsive. nova3 runs smooth wid graphics downgrades. but this happens with s advance too which is closely priced with mali 400.

Ok, so here's the deal on the Samsung Galaxy Win or in India the Samsung Galaxy Grand quattro, as it is marketed. If you are looking for an android phone on a budget that has ample screen size,multiple cores,good amount of RAM,runs the latest version of Jellybean,is made by a reputable electronics company and has a decent 5mp camera,look no further! this is the phone for you.
But to be fair, here are some of the pro's and con's that i found while using the I18550:
Pro's:
1.The phone has the latest jellbean OS,
2.The screen size is big, big enough for most people!,
3.it has four cores, the RAM is 1GB,
4.the phone has external memory support (yay!!) unlike other top phones at the moment. Trust me, some of us do like the option of extra storage,
5.it has dual sim options,
6.The front camera that is pretty decent (if the lights are on or in daylight). The camera is also nifty with good options and the 5mp camera does well in almost all scenarios. Flash is good.
7.The phone is priced affordably so the price won't burn a hole in your pocket.
8.It has some of the features the galaxy S4 has like smartstay,group play,etc.
The cons are :
1.no notification LED,(i have no idea i missed a call or received a message unless i actually unlock the screen from time to time)
2.not much battery life(HELL,NO),
3.overheating of the battery (ouch,my hands)
4.overall plastic-y look(Samsung ,what do you have against metal?),
5.The phone is a tad bulky.
6.Phone tends to hang at times (no,i haven't overloaded my memory. I'm using hardly 2GB),
7.The touch is far from smooth, you will realize this once you try sending a text message :)
8.The worst feature of the grand quattro according to me is the lack of the option to move apps of my choice to the SD card. If you try to move any app to the SD card,you will get a message saying that the SD card is emulated!! How annoying!! You have to root your phone to access the "move to SD card" option. I don't know about you,but i like having the choice to move the apps of my choice wherever i choose to move them.
Long story short,if you can handle the few kinks this phone has and you are short of cash and want to buy a "decent" android phone,you won't be disappointed by the grand quattro. But if you want a phone that's good on battery life or if you are impatient about your notifications (like me)need an option to move apps around and want super smooth touch...walk the other way and pick up an HTC or Nokia Lumia of the same budget.
