aftr being a Nokia fan for 15 years have shifted to samsung galaxy y.i feel is is a good phone and also for the quick office feature.hope Youth is always maintained.

dont buy not worth for gaming only.......
other things are good........ cam quality see link below

none of the games work all white textures like gangstar,asphalt , assassins creed , etc HD games
there is no way u can root the phone upto now
if we can root the phone we can install chainfire 3d and reduce game graphices to 16-bit mode and can run games ...... but sadly no root is available
:::((( another sad thing is i am using this phone
better go for micromax a70 or galaxy mini since they are worth as they both have Aderno GPU

this is the best phone with reasonable price and latest features and android os 2.3.5 ver. processor is fast as well and the audio is loud.

Browser of my Galaxy Y is not working with Airtel, i tried by opera also, same also not responding with Airtel.
Idea and other connections are working ok..
all applications are working smoothly with Airtel, except Browsers...
plz if anybody help me out in this.....

superb phone really to say @ this price. Amazing sound with clarity in the kernel headset. Super touch sensitivity. It fell twice from my hand but nothing happened, its light weight and solid. I would give it 4 stars coz it lacks a quality gpu.

Brett Gimel, 26 Oct 2011i cant decide what to buy This Galaxy Y? or Xperia X8?X8 --> if you care about battery life. It has 3.2 MP of Camera, and you could install some XDA software.
But I would definitely recommend this, worth the money, but sacrificing battery life and some megapixels in the camera.
