Bought this phone today for $138 and on a Cellphone Shop on sale, and I'm loving it since then.
Good features, very responsive touch screen.
I've downloaded angry birds and other games and it worked well, no lags whatsoever. Youtube videos in HD showed very good.
Battery life is up to 3 days on standby, but I tried using it often for today to drain the battery and it lasted around more than 10 hours, with me playing games and using wifi.
Excellent buy, you won't regret it for all the features of this phone. Very efficient and affordable!

people are writing in favour of it? 2 mp cam is not
an issue, but as you say there is pixelation in the
display is really disturbing. For higher resolution,
we have also to pay higher, but pixelation in the display is not acceptable. I would have to rethink
my decision of purchasing this phone.

I was amazed when saw this new galaxy y phone from Samsung. Another galaxy thing is on the market after mini, fit, and ace. However, what always disappoint me is the screen resolution 240x320. This would mean that it will not give the user the experience of rich and crisper screen display. You can even see pixels on your icons. This is big drawback. And also the low quality of pictures because of its 2 mp camera. Would rather optimus one or me for the price range. I hope this would help . Buy wisely.

This phone seems great. I bought it yesterday. I think galaxy S will be the next higher phone of galaxy y . all other phones in between them are not good as galaxy y . Samsung rules smartphones world

galaxy y has 2.3.5 GINGERBREAD os and an 832mhz processor. what else we want from a cheap price phone. go for it . it is really affordable. .
