Official specs says that it record at 720 x 480 . ( 480p).
This is not HD @ 720p ! 1280x720 should be there.

This phone is definitely a gorgeous upgrade to the nexus one (super amoled, curved display, bigger display, better processor and better multimedia capabilities). The omission of the sd card slot is strange but 16gb of storage is enough to more than 90% of users. I am curious to know what the curved display implements.

impressive. But i jus wan to say to those who wan a better ram and chip to run the phone, please please this is enough performance for the current phone. Cos until now Phone maker not yet invented a better battery jus to run the future ram and chip. in the end phone is jus a basic need to make call and listening to music on the go and occasionally surfing net, is not a gaming machine, playing games will drain the phone power faster, then ppl will start to complain "not even a day i need to charge my battery..., this phone sucks..." people get a life man u wan a better performance ram and u wan a better battery life when u can play game the whole day... u cant have both of it ... why do people wan to complain this and tat ...get a life people buy a psp or get urself a ps3 a wii if u wan to play a game...

Seems like a vanilla Android version of Galaxy S. Which is good because updates shouldn't be hindered by Samsung for it. Gingerbread doesn't seem to add anything groundbreaking, aside from NFC capability (but the phone must have the required hardware). Certainly not that revolutionary for a Nexus One successor, but IMO still the best option for a solid Android experience.

There's nothing impressive about it. Modders will easily port Nexus S ROM to the Galaxy S. Don't waste your money.

Other AWESOME phone from Samsung! Well done, you are very good! I bought my first Samsung 3 days ago(Omnia HD), and it is AWESOME! As every normal person knows, Android is far better then Symbian. This phone will kill Nokia! :))
