I just ordered a new Galaxy R. I found a pretty good deal(festival offer) online. Galaxy R was priced in between the Galaxy S+ and the Galaxy S II. I also didn't want to spend too much and Galaxy R had just the right balance of features and price.

Galaxy R is future proofed with its 1GHz Dual core Processor, an excellent GPU and 1GB of RAM. On the display front, there was no noticeable differences compared to the Super AMOLED. I only had to sacrifice (if you wanna call it that!) in the Camera front.

Anonymous, 19 Oct 2011hi, in here they say that the ram is 1Go but i saw a vide... morethe remaining memory is reserved for system calls and os functions its applicable for any mobile device if u want to get full 1gb ram u need to root(hack) the device,waranty will be void though if u try it.

1GB RAM is theory only, it will be realistic (the phone can only use 765mb) RAM. same with everything. When youj buy a 40GB hard drive you can only use 38gb of it.

same as SL the only diffrence is it comes with flash and duel core processor
the price is quite higher than SL
go for S2 instead for a nominal higher price

Was waiting for this device since its announcement but disappointed after its availability... going for SII. its much much better than R and there is a very nominal price difference....

Samsung is known for the best mobile phone maker in the perfect price but i found the the price very bad in this phone & also in Galaxy note.Now I feel Samsung going arrogant like Nokia & Sony Ericsson went & now both the companies are into hell.So, Its the time for Samsung to stay with the achievements normal like apple
