i think technology has reached its saturation level to such an extent that we feel that companies are copying each others features!!:-\
there is no scope for evolution and these companies dont want to try something new for which they will be criticized. Although i appreciate the fact that htc has taken a bold step by staying out of the megapixel race and introducing an ultrapixel technology in their htc one
even blackberry is making good efforts to get into the smartphone category.
i am not totally samsung biased, i just like good technology and i stick by it....
s4 is the real smartphone.

There was touch screen before apple introduced I phone. Now everyone is having it . And if there won't be competition. No innovation so doesn't matter if they copy but I recken instead of raking them to court they should bring new product in the market to kill the competitor.

So I reckdn all the manufActurershould consider this as well for such expensive phone

this phone is not that bad, it looks better than the GS3
i think that samsung should be given credit for this device as they managed to fit a five inch screen in a chassis which is thinner and lighter than the s3. Mind you, upgrading the screen from 4.8 inch to 5 inch did not cause a change in the height of the phone and led to reduction in breadth and width which is marvelous!!
i agree that it does not look as eye candy as the xperia z or the htc one but i am not buying the phone just to simply look at it; there are a bag full of features in this phone. Now many people might be thinking that samsung copies a lot of stuff. its not always true. the lg smart video feature was unveiled on the day of the galaxy unpacked event in new york, and coincidentally the s4 had the same feature as well!!
now what is samsungs fault in this ??
they put the feature in it even before lg introduced it.....
and also many people are complaining about the octa core chipset.
whats the problem??
samsung decided to take the smartphone to the next level so what is their problem??!!? the s4 is samsungs invention they can put anything inside it..... if you dont like it then dont buy it, as simple as that...
but i am definitely going for the sgs4 . Kudos samsung

But still nothing is confirmed whether octacore will support LTE or not . If they can't support LTE then its hard to add the hardware. Again if they launcu .1.9 GHz proceesor for LTE models with snapdragon then it will be as fast as octa core as Samsung already mensioned that those will work only one quad core at a time depends on the requirement that's mostly for battery where as snapdragon will b using all cores at. Time where batterry consumption will b more than octa.

I’m very disappointed that the octa core doesn’t have lte. That means that the phone has still room for improvement.
The lack of radio is another disappointment. If it had those 2 features, it would have been just perfect.
I guess I’ll buy the octa core after all if the benchmarks confirm the superior speed and performance; but with some doubt. It’s a pity they will launch the octa-core without lte and radio.
Is it possible for the 4g to be added later on, maybe in a couple of months, what do you think?

Well both the phone s iv and HTC one are the best competitive phones in the markets where as both of them are not perfect but not bad as well. Both have advantages and dis advantages it's a user who aNts what some will prefer HTC due to body and look and its features and same for the siv .
Some people were upset because Samsung didn't use metal but that is what their engineers think that polycarbonateis better because if you crack the back u can replace it very cheaply say for 20 bucks also good for signal transfer . But bad is does look like plastic , cheap, not the premium materials
they got formfactor carried from their siii which most people loved
whereas HTC got metal to look beautiful sturdy strong device feel premiumbdevice . Good for the cost-effective .
also they made in unibody can't access batterry or can't put the card in . Also if u dropbit on the stone or anything will make dent in the body which will look bad have to use cover then u loose its premium look
so if u putting cover on either of the devices what's going to make difference is it plastic or metal
copying of the others design does it really matter for the end-user it is copied or not when it is giving best performance .
I think both the devices have their own names and numbers so choice is end user who wants what?

Z is made of glass, so even if it is dust and "waterproof" it will not do very well in droptests without that preinstalled plastic screenprotector that scratches easily and makes the screen quality totally horrible!
"Nano coating" is far better way to waterproof a phone than using fragile annoying flaps that needs to be opened everytime you want to plugin headphones...! I used my S3 in the rain and it did not "die"..., so waterproof is not needed at all, but there are many cases/covers that can make any phone waterproof if you want to take it with you when diving! Z is not an alternative to S4, but HTC One would be if it had a better camera and a micro sd-card slot!

Hi everyone,
everybody speaking bout htc 1's alluminium unibody and s4's automatic light on features. Well I'm Juz asking these features was in Nokia n8 in 4 years back. Ultimate 12MP camera. I feel Itz Stil a unbeaten phone by d build quality and features. Only thing was smaller screen size. Now htc and all speaking bout aluminium body and all. BullShit......

Oh yeah...waterproof is very important feature in terms of safety than the sitty and useless features like multi window, air view, and that automatic light on feature (donno.the name of that useless.feature) of samsung....and also.useless dual quad core(as mobile dont need that.much processor. Its nt PC)....sony is far better than samsung in terms of features, design and UI...only sony devices are quite costlier....this is the only drawback of sony....
