For better difference take video capture for 30 secs on both the phones, Samsung gives 60 mb dense video clarity but Htc just 30 mb low qulity.

I was once tricked by Samsung due to misleading info in product specs. I'll never forget that and won't buy any Samsung phone again. I spread this deceit of Samsung on every platform when avail.
Galaxy S2 camera was advertised as 30 fps 1080p but the actual product was capturing with lower fps at indoors. The 1080p image looked like zoomed in because it processed only a small part of the image data on CCD.
They removed the 1080p capture mode from S3 though.
I'm sick of Samsung's misleading way of marketing.
