koldmeat, 12 May 2013Again the battery sucks... go for Motorola guys... get a fu... moreI am a Motorola fan. I have a Razr HD XT925. I barely get a day. I am pretty sure the Galaxy S4 can with out a problem. I am waiting on the next big Motorola Phone or else I would have bought this one.

Appears this is something most GS4 suffer from.
Eather the red subpixels dont shut down, like the blue and green, resulting in a dark red overtone and a grey dull look in everything U do on the screen .
Apparently Samsung fixed it in update, but instead of the red U got "smearing". Which appear as U for example scroll between contacts. Resulting in the grey shrink and grow and make U a wee bit seasick.
Now it seems they have just removed the uppdate. Says I have the latest one...
Probably some desperation going on right now on how to solve this and get rid of both problems.
Well I'll give them till the day before my DOA-period ends.

Got the I9505 on Friday and ,while transferring my apps and data I've noticed that indeed the phone heats up.
After I've finished ,I remembered that I haven't tried the camera...well the camera was not working.The focus was fixed to 10-15 cm and any attempt to focus(by touching the screen)would result in phone heating up and camera app becoming unresponsive. Sent back!!
Galaxy I9505 bought from Cosmote RO.

Bought this phone a week ago.. It heats up, the phone lags when using dialer, it's getting scratches whenever i connect the charger, the battery back up is a shame for a phone like this.. Sound quality isn't up to the mark, so many useless gimmicks eats a lot of ram already, touchwiz looks so ugly in the beautiful screen, for a 13 MP snapper the picture quality is a shame, the plastic looks so cheap, the same design as Samsung Galaxy S3. .. Now i think i have been tricked by Samsung for this price.. Never gonna buy a Samsung phone ever again.. P.S. I'm using the octa core variant.. At 42000 Rs this phone is really not worth it. I'll just sell it as soon as possible.

My first im... morei think you have a bug unit mate, maybe you could store your data and do a factory reset, the screen settings can be altered, there are about 5 different pre sets and the colours are really good, there is also RGB settings meant to make the screen produce a more natural color and not so vivd like AMOLEDS often give, i have my s3 and s4 together and the display is simply stunning in my view, there are also many settings to alter the running of the phone also, i can point you to some hints at improving the performance if you need as well.

gangs, 10 May 2013first of all you have to knw dat in iphone's thre r many bu... morethey do not really require more ram, i had htc desire and original galaxy s, and they still managed to play most high end games, at the time, ram is just for allowing more apps to run simultaneously, i think 2gb ram is plenty, and yes IOS has rediculous restrictions, i hate how unfriendly iPhones and IOS is. im still getting to grips with my s4 and each day im finding new little tricks to work with, including a proper camera button hidden in settings, not sure this was on s3 but its great to have it, also i can control my camera Sony Nex-5N with the IR sensor, wonderful feature, still think this is the best phone out, lacks storage though for installing apps/data, thats my only problem

AnonD-144410, 11 May 2013Does anyone know why there is little to no stock on S4's in... moreI preordered my s4 weeks ago and a day before phone release I gets email . saying my phone will be 1 to 2 weeks till delivery the next day I gets email saying my phone has been despatched..i got my s4 on Monday 29 april brilliant phone I had the s3 before ..ps I had the htc one for a week nice phone but the Sammy is far better ..plays all video codecs ..htc does not no sd slot no battery change option ..I tried a iphone 4 years ago 1 week sent it back boring os ..htc one should poach a lot of iphone people good phone but not for me ..tech 21 is the best case for your Sammy if you want to protect it ..

Many of the other smart features work intermittently and mainly in Samsung apps like the Internet or browser. As the air features are generally battery drains, most sensible people are gonna switch them off.

I have been sick in bed with flu so have testing this phone for 72 hours non stop. Firstly the "air" features are generally gimmicks and only work in some Samsung applications, to save battery just turn most of them off. Secondly, the REAL WORLD SCREEN ON TIME figure for battery life is 4-5 hours of constant use over 3G data before the battery cuts out, which I think is very good. If you don't use the phone much I can imagine that battery would go for days. Thirdly, set the background to black or dark grey to conserve battery life as that uses less power. Overall I am impressed but it was a lot of money for me to spend on a phone.
