Alinator, 11 Apr 2013Actually, while everything you are saying is completely tru... moreYes. Except there is the Intel one. It may be 2GHz, but also only dual core...Although in retro spective it's got Hyper Threading which does simulate extra cores. So they are on par. Though if the A-15's were clocked at 2GHz they would achieve higher.

jon jo, 10 Apr 2013get a life you sad git the s5 is not even in production and... moreOf course S5 is in production,,it takes 12-18months to bring a smartfone to market..The S4 was on the drawing board and been readied when S3 was released there is no other way to do it..You cant just bring out a phone in few months..

FM is argued about on 19500 forum and some folk work in areas where their is no mobile reception but via fm radio they can get traffic updates and news...These are not always third world countrys hell I live in UK and my hour commute has 60-70% no network coverage but radio often works..Some folk are out in other conditions where their is no mobile reception and fm radio gives them entertainment and vital news updates.

rj23, 10 Apr 2013Technically the Octa core is just gimmick. Samsung haven't ... moreActually, while everything you are saying is completely true, the Exynos Octa @1.6ghz still got a higher benchmark than the snapdragon 600 @1.9ghz. The Exynos Octa is the best processor used on a phone right now, and due to the 2 processors it leads in performance and battery life. We'll see how it performs against the snapdragon 800, but so far it is the best!

Anonymous, 09 Apr 2013the I9505 has better connection however its only quad core ... moreTechnically the Octa core is just gimmick. Samsung haven't made a real Octa core where all cores work together unlike the single quad core Snapdragon has made with its 600 and S4 Pro. There may even be a chance that the Exynos version might perform a little slower than the one with a Snapdragon chipset since the Snapdragon variant is clocked at 1.9GHz and compatible with all 4G LTE bands while the Exynos 5 Octa core the first quad core with A15 chipsets are clocked at 1.6GHz and the A7 quad core chips are at 1.2GHz and the latter is gonna be used in some tasks like web browsing, downloading and other light tasks a phone will do while the ones clocked at 1.6GHz will take charge of gaming and all other heavy tasks. Being able to get an LTE connection whenever available is definitely a plus rather than seeing a device that has 8 cores but would not render everything that you need coz again, there's a chance that the i9500 variant might not support an LTE band in your area.

Anonymous, 09 Apr 2013@Kelvin I9500 use exynos octa-core but I9505 use snapdrago... moreSnapdragon is more stable than exynos, it's probably one of the reasons why devs recommend it over the last one including easier coding of course.

I'm not quite sure why people are getting upset about the apparent lack of FM Radio... Yes, although it's quite a simple feature, what is the real hassle with downloading a great app like 'Tune In' that gets any Radio station?

Is it really that big of a deal that it would turn people away from buying this phone...? Especially when you can simply download an app that would solve this problem? Just saying...
