And you people call your selves smart and sophisticated? Please. Any ordinary person can see that this phone is targeted at non sophisticated computer geeks like some of you. Samsang has actually done a good job in incooperating the less upmarket audience with 3G technology. Thanks to Samsung, now almost every one can experience the 21st century technology on mobiles.

What an adorable little phone. I'm going to buy one for my niece. She is three. Im a bit concerned about the quality of the camera though - 1.3mp is not enough for her. She likes to take quality pictures of her shoes. Anyway maybe i should get her the W580i so she can listen to all her favourite music. What do you think?

Wow this phone is so cool! 1.3 MP camera, whoa! Now thats technology! It has an organiser, wowzers! i always wanted one of them in a phone! MP3 ringtones? now thats advanced! For a brand new phone competing with the likes of Nokia and Sony Ericsson,Samsung sure know how to stand out in a crowd. All you people bagging this phone, go do something constructive with your time like bagging the Prada phone.

It seems that you people don't understand the simple concept of a phone's target audience. Not all phones in a company's lineup must be top-of-the line. There is such a thing as an "entry-level phone", in which category i reckon this phone belongs. And for an entry-level, i think it's features are quite on par.

Well I have a samsung U700 and obviously well this phone isnt meant 2 compete with phones like that,I think its aimed at people who just want a good phone for moderate features.
