Samsung has launched a new smartphone. Dubbed Galaxy Wide 2, it's the successor to the Galaxy Wide that the company released last year. The new phone is powered by an octa-core 1.6 GHz processor, and sports a 5.5-inch HD display.

RAM is 2GB, while internal storage is 16GB. The handset features a 13MP main camera and a 5MP selfie shooter. Measuring 151.5×76.4×8.6mm and weighing in at 170g, the device runs Android 7.0 Nougat. A 3,300mAh battery is there to keep the lights on.

The Samsung Galaxy Wide 2 is currently available in the tech giant's home country of South Korea, where SK Telecom is selling it for KRW 297,000 (around $265) - post discounts, the price tag comes down to KRW 100,000 (around $90).
