Samsung Pay updated with in-app coupon search

Samsung marks the first anniversary of launching Pay in the US by updating the Android app with the feature to search for coupons. The in-app coupon search is backed by Coupons.com meaning that users of the service easily sync loyalty cards and existing coupons with Samsung Pay.

However, there's another new feature that'll be more appreciated when you change your devices. The latest Samsung Pay update bakes in cloud sync allowing for the automatic transfer of membership, gift and reward cards on new devices.

To celebrate the Samsung Pay birthday, the company is giving away 365 Gear S2 smartwatches to those who post on Twitter an emoji-filed birthday message for the app.
