Of course you can use usb and micro hdmi at the same time on the Arc, I do it all the time. I connect my Arc to the tv via hdmi and use my wireless keyboard and mouse to remotely control it.
But I do have to say you can not use a usb disk to watch movies or pictures as it doesn't support that. At least without rooting it

Again no info if I can use HDMI and USB simultaneously.
Can I (for instance) connect a mouse to the usb while looking the video output on a HDMI monitor?
Or could I watch pictures stored on a usb-drive on a HDMI screen?

Don't recommend an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich. Performance is dreadful after the upgrade. Not enough internal memory under ICS - had real problems with play store with only a handful of apps installed.

What is the smallest way to root this phone because i dont have much bandwidth to download anything over 30 mb,to jailbreak an iphone with ios 6 is a pc app of 10mb?please give me a small app or something(not z4root).

honestly i wudnt recommend this phone to anyone, i have had it for two years and in this teo years, it freezes!! and tells u that memory is low and sometimes takes a lot, i mean alot of time to respond bt if ur a photo person, ull definately love its picture quality it beats so many camera and the music component is also excellent.. The competition is a far better phone than Sony Xperia Arc!!
