I will buy this! I already have a full size smartfone. What I wanted was a music player, and was gonna get an iPod nano but the way i see it, this can do track ID (for when I wanna identify a nice song I hear on the FM radio) and some VERY LIGHT browsing and Facebook. I wouldn't use it for calls much, just a portable companion when I've left my fone at home. All the media players that can do internet, such as iPod touch, only work over wifi and are not as compact. This is great when on the move or exercising.

I get the feeling this is meant to be more Walkman than Fone. Thats why they haven't really concentrated much on the fone part. I love the compactness, and it should be cheap. And capacitive touch makes it a bit more desirable.

memory just 5mb.There is no mistake its exactly 5 mb but this can be increased with the addition of a Micro SD memory card, with the Yendo able to support cards up to 16 GB in size.

The design is amazing. I must admit even though i am not a sony ericsson fan. But 5mb of internal memory?!! must be a mistake. This phone was obvious made to compete with the Samsung S3650 Corby, LG Cookie ,Nokia 5233 and 5250 and the other affordable touch screens phones out there.

> In reply to Niko0olas @ 2010-08-20 06:04 from SXp5 - click to readno wi fi and no-GPS,it is reasonable, because the price is cheap enough. If you want more, just go to higher price!

Epic Fail from SE...
great... and i thought my Aino was the only fail in around...
With mobiles like X10, as a company you have to know that your fans expect a bit more than 156 MHz, 2MP, NO WIFI, NO GPS...i hope the speaker it will be decent and the touchscreen to work better than my 5year old Ipod Touch 1g..

3.5 hrs of talktime.........amazing.......it seems sony thinks we only talk for a few minutes everyday...
- 2010-08-19 16:47
I thought this one woulde the X10 mini walkman~ very elegant & modern design. Current smartphone has lower ringer like 78db and below. This happened to even the latest model except for Desire, Legend and N97 mini. with those low-spec feature, i am sure this one will cost 40% lesser than X10 mini.

156 MHz processor...amazing.

> In reply to rdmozero @ 2010-08-09 15:20 from uEyx - click to readWell, I have to say I don't know this phone but about being done by Sagem, that isn´t a problem... I have to say I had several SE phones, all great and had one basic phone from Sagem MY X-1 and the phone worked great, great sound, good reception, excellent battery time and well built (except for de keyboard loosing the colours). It even felt in the sewer and since then has worked for more 5 years and counting. So, Sagem making phones for Sony Ericsson is NOT a problem. LOL. Besides, Sagem has more technology then must people realise.
