And It's not Laggy-Buggy-Heavy Toucwiz UI that slow down the phone even with 1.5 GB RAM, but light Xperia UI is very smooth even with only 512MB RAM, Sony really optimized it. I think it can run Asphalt 8 smoothly, Nokia X can play Asphalt 8 too. Up to you, I can't force you buy it. But I think no else come close with this phone in its class.

I had the phone for 2 days...Really good performance for its money....but in the sound departement its a little bit desapointing...(for the things that Sony was saying). My 2 1/2 years old WT19i has better speakers both in quality and volume.

About camera, no flash and front (my LWW has). Even I'm not really often using camera but sometimes I need that.
About multi touch only up to 2 fingers (my LWW is up to 4 fingers) this will be a problem when playing emulator game (Like PPSSPP,MyBoy,etc)
4 gb internal memory is good, but if only 512 MB RAM... :-(
What I very like is from this phone is: 4 inch display, high pixel density, Dedicated walkman key, walkman player with rich feature,(I think more rich than my brother Xperia Tx), and 100 db sound (Actually I don't really know how loud that is, but user's said it's very loud).
Should I buy E1, or go with another sony phone, or I should be more "extremely" patience to wait sony Improve this E1?

To be honest i was sceptic about this phone.When i bought it i realised that it runs smootly no lags or what so ever .Gaming its good no hickups in high graphics game.Definitly the best low budget andorid phone on the market.And yea the speaker is very loud :D.

Zhang Nan, 18 Apr 2014I currently used Xperia Z1 Compact which I bought 2 days ag... moreWell it's kinda difficult to find super loud speaker phonee..., my SE live with walkman has great speaker(stereo speaker) , but it's very outdate (OS,processor,etc) and even walkman player only has xloud enhancement. No edit music info, no manual equalizer, no bass enhancer. But if u do some root with that phone and install this modified firmware:

,u will get more louder sound and bass boost preset equalizer.
(U can also check the spec on this gsm arena.)
Another option is this Xperia e1 coz, Some users said Xperia e1 has a great speaker.
Actually I don't really recommended to go with my phone (live with walkman), but if u said for second phone, maybe it will be some consideration.

i currently used Xperia E1 dual. there are no option for 720p video recording there only 640p video recording possible

Hey bro may I know what phone did u use now? Is it from sony brand?
My device now is SE live with walkman(LWW). Speaker is really awesome, and since I used this phone, I like phone with great(loud and clear) speaker and I only like Sony coz the walkman player (What I like about walkman is clear bass,xloud and uniquely it can download artist photo, I think only walkman(From 2012 Xperia and above) can do that). Clear bass really good even when using stock headset, I test it with my brother Xperia Tx and my dad Xperia J, speaker is loud but but not loud as my LWW.
So may I know what device u use now? Maybe will be my consideration for my next phone.

This is a music phone not any other thing , thus 512 MB RAM is enough. The speed & power of the phone in any area is very well and unbeatable (cpu , GPU , ram , internal memory, ...) , not only on paper but in action !!!

your SD card over a network. Another example is that you currently cannot use the TomTom app to download your maps to the SD card if you are on KitKat.
Only first party apps are able to write to the SD card, which is why the File Commander app will still work on Xperia handsets running KitKat. Third-party developers can
get round the issue by creating a dedicated private folder on the SD card which the app can write to. A problem with going down this route though is that all data written to these private folders will be deleted as soon as the app is uninstalled.
