DB8500 is the name of the individual digital baseband chip which includes the ARM Cortex A9 CPU, ARM Mali 400 GPU and Ericsson Thor modem. Also included in the chipset is the AB8500 which is the analogue baseband chip.

Indra, 17 Apr 2012in xperia P white paper it's says that it used adreno 205 n... moreGPU is always in-built with the chipset. Just take a look on the processor/ cpu info, if it says STE U8500 means it use DB8500 GPU, otherwise is incorrect.

that's a good phone dual core but only 1gh. but ok it's not like other phone promising 1.4gh the running at the speed less than 800mh. wan buy this 1. please come soon dear
