Bought the white version of the phone for my wife in Chennai for Rs.28000. The moment I connected to the wifi, updated to ICS through OTA. Great display and vivid colors. No lag at all. The battery backup is great, able to top more than 36 hrs without recharge with normal usage (calling, tweaking and browsing in wifi).

Camera is great in daylight, however lots of grains in photos taken at dim light/night. Flash is not of much help. This is the first android device I bought for my wife and she loves it....

> In reply to Rush123 @ 2012-08-08 17:23 from xxL9 - click to readNo need to wait. You can Flash the generic (Swiss or Germany)ICS 4.0.4 of build number 6.1.A.0.452 using flash tool. This Rom can be obtained from the XDA developer site. Flashing rom this way does not require you to root your phone. I got my ICS 4.0.4 this way and after flashing, my phone still remain unrooted. Therefore no need to worry about voiding your phone warranty.

Why is everyone comparing this phone or other phones,be content with what you have,no need yo discourage others,,iam owning it for 3months now and it is excellent dropped twice on floor but nothing happend,,thats a great factor anyone want to buy it,go for it,,after thr ICS update its more sweeter the gallery is so preety and also the icons,,kindly dont write bad things about a flagship device like this,,i never does and dont discourage others,,thanks

i recently got an Xperia S.
I have disabled some of the inbuilt apps to save memory. Problem is...do you know how to enable them again? I cannot find them in settings-->apps . When you disable an app , it vanishes from the phone!!! Any one found the solution to this???
