Wow another good phone
good specs for an entry level android device
i think this is way better compare to desire c and galaxy mini 2 which suck on battery
i hope this phone comes with a reasonable price
dont compare it to xperia mini it is a midrange phone and a very buggy phone
and lastly its not all about mhz
technoobs always based their comments on the clockspeed of the processor
check the architecture and the type of processor first before making any conclusion about the processor
again again again its a "lowend" "entry lvl phone" dont expect it to have a high end specs

Boss, 13 Jun 2012This is launched to kill Samsung's galaxy monopoly ryt now.... moreWell,Nokia will wake up if they will fire Microsoft-Slave Stephen Elop. that's why he killed Symbian,Meego,Meltimi and sooner or later will be killing other OS(and even Belle and FP1 aka Carla) until Windows Phone will be the major OS of Nokia.I'm Nokia die-hard fan 'before' and now,I really hate them because of their CEO(?).
Now Nokia is on the floor from the top.Poor....Let's see on their Q2 sales report(Windows Phone has still potential on Market)

For all,I just wanna give you info & facts.
Xperia Tipo is the best low-end smartphone @ dis time(let's just hope this will have reasonable price)
It's processor is the new Qualcomm 'MSM7227A'.The difference w/ the MSM7227 is that it is based on Cortex-A5 w/c is the most energy efficient of all ARM processor.
This is also based on ARMv7 instruction set w/c is required in running some apps like Temple Run,Mozilla Firefox? and etc.Adreno 200 GPU in this chipset is ENHANCED compared to those on old Qualcomm.This MSM7227A chipset is the upgrade of old MSM7227 & just released on Q4 of 2011.This kind of processor,even though it's rate is just 800 MHz(it is still based on latest tech on processor technology.)can run the new ICS OS good enough.I also don't care about the camera because I have my new digicam.
For those who were comparing this to Moto Fire XT,my answer is still Tipo.because it's processor is based on ARMv6 and old ARM 11 processor,the MSM7227Turbo(also upgrade of MSM7227 but it's upgrade is just the rate @ 800MHz than the standard 600MHz.My only concern is the resolution (HVGA w/ 180ppi) but this is still better than QVGA!!!

As stated by Sony Mobile's page, Xperia Tipo has an xLOUD audio filter technology from sony and has a Snapdragon Processor , armed with a scratch resistant mineral glass.. (as tough as a Gorilla glass) and with its price, it's definitely a Wow! So guys this isn't just an entry lvl droid it could even outmatch the galaxy ace!

Maybe you think 800mhz is not enough for this.well dude your probably so wrong! Search more before dragging this phone downward! It will be a big hit in the market if its price is good. No hates spread love and MAKE BELIEVE!

It's expected launch price is less than xperia mini and once it hits the stores it'll be much cheaper than mini.so don't compare it with mini.higher ppi? That's coz mini has a smallish 3.0" screen.any phone in 2012 with that size is just unacceptable.and it's so chubby around 16 mm.despite it's compact size it won't go unnoticed in ur pocket coz of it's thickness.that's not an advantage.
I think it's the step in the right direction from sony.
