Two new Xiaomi phones receive TENAA certification
A couple of new Xiaomi smartphones have been certified by the Chinese telecommunication authority TENAA.
Listed as 2016111 and 2016112, the devices have almost identical specifications, including quad-core 1.4GHz processor, 5-inch HD display, 2GB/16GB memory configuration, and 13MP/5MP camera combo.
Xiaomi 2016111
Weight and size of the devices are also same - 140g and 139.9 × 70.4 × 8.5mm - and a 3,030mAh battery is there to keep the lights on. Color options include Gold and Silver.
Xiaomi 2016112
The only known area where the two devices differ is expandable memory - while the Xiaomi 2016111 comes with expandable storage, the 2016112 doesn't - indicating that they could well be different variants of a single phone.
