Verizon buys Cincinatti Bell for $210 million

07 April, 2014

Cincinnati Bell and Verizon have come to an agreement, and it looks like Big Red will have a whole lot of new customers on their network once the deal goes through.

It should all be taken care of in the second part of this year. So what do C. Bell customers need to do now that their accounts are being passed over to Verizon? Just sit tight. They're going to receive notices about any changes in plans or policies that will occur due to the transition.

So what's going to happen to Cincinnati Bell? They're going to focus their attention primarily on TV and internet services.

“This transaction is an important step toward increasing focus on our growing strategic product base...this transaction not only ensures that our customers have access to top-tier wireless service, but it also gives us increased flexibility to meet their growing demand for our Fioptics suite of products.”

Any Cincinnati Bell customers out there think that this acquisition is bad news for them?
