Xiaomi drops Redmi 2 price, launches Enhanced version

Xiaomi has dropped the price of the Redmi 2 in India and Singapore. In India, the phone is now priced at Rs. 5,999 from the previous Rs. 6,999. In Singapore, the phone is now selling at $149.



On top of that Xiaomi has also launched the Enhanced version of the phone in Singapore. The Redmi 2 Enhanced has 2GB RAM and 16GB storage over the 1GB/16GB of the standard model, with the rest being identical. The Enhanced variant is priced at $179 in Singapore.
