Xiaomi gives us a glimpse of its Mi 4 smartphone in a press invite

14 July, 2014

Xiaomi’s president Lei Jun recently teased the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone on his Weibo account. Now, the Chinese manufacturer has confirmed that it will be hosting its annual product launch event at the Beijing National Convention Center on July 22.

The press invitations for the event have already been sent out to the media. The stylish metal plate invite gives us a glimpse of the Mi 3 successor. In fact, we might actually be looking at the final dimensions of the Mi 4.

Xiaomi Mi 4 is rumored to sport a 5.2-inch Full HD display and the smartphone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 801 or 805 chipset. If the rumors are to be trusted, the Mi 4 will feature 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and a 13 megapixel rear shooter.

We will be bringing you all the latest updates from the July 22 event, so check back with us when the time comes.
