Xiaomi Mi 4 will be up for grabs in India without registration

25 February, 2015

Following in the footsteps of the Redmi Note 4G from earlier this month, Xiaomi's Mi 4 is set to go on sale in India without registration starting tomorrow.

As always, the phone will be offered by Flipkart, as that's Xiaomi's exclusive retail partner in the subcontinent. The no-registration availability currently only applies to the 16GB model.

Buying the 64GB Mi 4 still requires registration, and you can register right now for a chance to grab one on March 3 at 2 PM.

But if the variant with less internal storage is something you'd consider, then starting tomorrow you'll be able to purchase one just as you would any other device - no flash sales to wait for, no registration requirement, and no need to click Refresh in your browser a million times when the big day comes.
