27” Red Magic 4K Gaming Monitor makes global debut

The nubia 4K Red Magic Gaming Monitor that was introduced last summer is finally going global. Today the company announced its international launch and revealed its global pricing.

So far North America and Malaysia are confirmed to get the company's first monitor, but more countries will inevitably join them.

The Red Magic Gaming Monitor has a 27” miniLED panel with a 16:9 ratio, 4K resolution and 178-degree viewing angle. The display has 10-bit color support and HDR 1000 certification. It has over 650nit regular and 1300nit peak brightness. Gaming features include assistance with crosshair, timer, and frame rate counter.

Speaking of frame rate, the monitor goes up to 160Hz refresh rate. The display can be rotated 90 degrees clockwise or counter-clockwise, and in all directions it has Moving Picture Response Time technology, reducing motion blur and improving clarity.

Pre-orders in North America will begin on April 3, with shipments scheduled for April 6. The price is set at $869. In Malaysia you will be able to pre-order the nubia Red Magic 27” Gaming Monitor on April 4 for the price of MYR3,999 (over $900).

might as well go for the coolermaster tempest gp27u or the InnoCN model. These all seem to have the same 4k 160hz miniled panel. Something tells me Nubia will be the slowest of the bunch when it comes to firmware upates and bug fixes.
