engineerhb, 14 Mar 2024I think its production is already discontinued, so chances ... moreIt's not true, there are still new units available. Even after 2 months from your comment. Motorola filled the budget compact phone niche and therefore they had a reason to keep producing this phone since it saw better sales in this price category (at least in my country)

It's a very good deal for just 200 euro. Compact size is it's selling point (probably the only one you can get still new in this price range). S10e is also a good choice, but even after all these years it's still at least 1.5 times more expensive (we're talking about new / like new condition).

Headphone jack is no problem, there are dongles / adapters, usb c headphones even. Okay, I can agree, storage is quite low, but you can use usb c adapter to connect a pendrive or micro sd card slot adapter even if you want to free some storage for apps photos or recording videos and if don't want your data in the cloud.

For calling, messaging, browsing, watching videos, what more do you need? Yeah, I'm cheap and all, but what your Galaxy S24 Ultra Epic Whatever can what mine can't do? Spy on you with AI features? Great. Human convenience is destroying this society. I'm sure this phone will last me a long time, few years maybe even more. In fact, I will keep it until it dies and even then I will either get the same one - just because it's cheap or get a new budget compact phone if any releases. Big no to ping pong egg cooking pallets and even bigger no to mindless consumerism. You want bigger screen then go buy a tablet. You want more performance power - save up for pc that will last way longer than ANY phone will.

Anonymous, 18 Apr 2024Nope. Enjoy your crappy motorola softwareApart from this problem, which seems to happen 1-2x per week, the software is quite good. There are hardly any other phones from any manufacturers that are this much lightweight too.

Anonymous, 20 Apr 2024Software …is great 14 aye? … stock. What I meant is, motorola doesn't care to fix issues such as volume buttons not working that maybe connected to a software problem. Stock android yes, but all motorolas become obsolete very fast. Companies nowadays are more evil than ever, adding on to the e-waste problem and especially motorola that has only 1 os update. And then you will be buying another phone again just because the support ended too quick. EU apparently passed the law to exchange, but still no phones at sight with replaceable batteries besides samsung xcover series maybe.

Since Android 14 i am having issue that volume slider randomly stops working. Pressing volume up or down does not show slider. Must restart to get it back working. Anyone having similar issue and maybe a clue on how to solve this?

engineerhb, 13 Mar 2024They didn't remove it, they just changed the default s... moreBubbles function differently from the peek screen. You need to tap on them to see the notification, then if there are multiple notifications you need to tap again to expand them, and then you need to tap on them again or swipe to use a quick option/dismiss them.
By comparison, with peek notifications I just needed to tap and hold on a notification to see and read the full thing, and then without letting go I could drag it to one of several quick options, or to the fingerprint sensor to open it. It was such a nice elegant system, and bubble notifications don't replace it.
