Since there is no global... moreChinese firmware will never support the extended frequencies required by other countries because these frequencies are officially banned in China. But this model will never have global firmware, where you can select the language and region.

        What’s even worse is that the manufacturer flatly refuses to provide owners, upon request, with unlocking the bootloader so that they can freely install alternative firmware, where everything they need will work.

              Had it for more than a month, all I can say, it's a very good phone for its price point. bought it for 11,800PHP (211USD), and it is worth it. No issues with the software and region locking, my Philippine sims are dual 5g supported. full charge in 20 minutes that will last you a day, a good camera combined with good optimization, a good chipset. all i say is, go for it.

                    If the band support works in your country, you can buy on AliExpress.

                    I am waiting for more LTE band support as it doesn't support the bands in USA.

                        The lack of reviews about this device makes it kinda hard to decide whether this device is good or not, but it feels like it's a great device overall at its price.

                          Can we change LTE bands on iQoo smartphones?

                          There is some special dial code to activate the engineering menu on MediaTek devices. Not sure whether it is enable?🤔

That and its a china release so again its not north america or europe so they actively keep quiet and dont bother with the products.

                                        Nah Redmi note 12t pro is far more expensive, I'd rather get an Iqoo neo 8pro at that price
