I want to buy the Chinese version as it is much cheaper, than the global one. Can someone explain it to me about the bands coverage? I am from Macedonia and the operators cover b3 and b20 for 4G. The chinese version supports only b3. Is this enough for good bands coverage?

I haven't recieved a single update since March 2024, no security updates either. Is that the case with everyone else ? Being a flagship shouldn't they be giving monthly security updates ?

Yeah, I would like to know too. I am looking to either change case or add glass protection. I am worried that adding glass protection may affect the photos. I like the current case. Also how scratch resistant is the camera glass?

Callmaster, 22 May 2024Did you remove the protector from the camera?I havent, wasnt even aware that it has a protector applied. However i think its the software. While most phones are over-sharpened, this one is under-sharpened (for me). Photos are still great, its just lacking in detail.
Otherwise its a great phone, just wish it was even smaller and lighter. And the green glossy version is slippery AF. I have never dropped a phone before, but this one i managed to drop within the first days. It was on a glass table without a case, and while this phone has almost no vibration while playing loud sounds, it still managed to move on it. Luckily it survived the 80cm fall on hard surface pretty well, just a almost invisible dent on the aluminium frame edge. First phone im going to use a case, which makes it even heavier :(

The Xiaomi 14 definitely takes better rear camera photos than the s23/+, but the selfie on the S23 is much better. The "look" on the Xiaomi 14 photos can be inconsistent though, so you'll often need to take multiple photos of the same scene in order to get a good pic. The Xiaomi 14 battery was terrible during my first 2 weeks of usage, but it got way better once it optimized itself. It's a pretty reliable 1-day phone now, but not much more. I also got the lens fog issue on my unit, and I had to fix it by sticking it in a bag of dessicants with the sim tray removed. Could be a deal breaker for some, and I totally get that.

Looking to buy a Compact Smartphone this month. Earlier I was going for Xiaomi 14. But now there is a Discount in Flipkart for Samsung Galaxy S23. Confused between the two. Is there any issue with Xiaomi 14? Or is the Camera and Battery really very poor in comparison to Xiaomi 14. Need suggestions.
