S. Smith, 25 May 2024Thank you for your feedback. My usage is quite normal, but ... moreWelp, I guess that's a great comparison there between Exynos and Snapdragon. Exynos just isnt as well optimised or as advanced in terms of technology. It heats, it drains and it uses more battery than it should. Also the mobile connectivity is garbage. WiFi is okay.

Although I get fairly decent battery and SOT most of the time, I wouldn't buy this phone again if I had the choice. It's not as fast or as smooth as I expect a flagship to be.

For context, my previous S23 Plus and S24 Ultra had great battery performance. However, I switched to the S24 Plus because the S24 Ultra is a bit big and not pocket-friendly.
    Thanks again for your input.

We are forced to use the device with the Exynos 2400 processor. At the very least, Samsung should ensure that it is a good and excellent processor in terms of battery performance. My Galaxy S24 Plus has very poor battery performance, not even reaching 5 hours of screen-on time.

It's an 8K camera, what do you mean "mediocre" lol

I'm sure you don't have it set to 8K if you think that it's the same as in S22.

Damn this phone should come with a mandatory tutorial, because people just can't use it properly and then write stupid s*it on forums.

The only thing that really sucks on this phone is signal strength. It's really rubbish compared to snapdragon and even mediatek devices. Such a shame!

I compared the main camera from S24+ and Ultra...Ultra is so much better.
S24+ has same mediocre camera as S22, S23 with slow autofocus. Hopefully S25+ will have some improvement, because chinese phones are making great progress in their cameras....

Giving VFMholding out whe next years releases I upgrade every 2-3 years and like to have good jump, but recent releases I would have went with the Oneplus 12, Cn version flashed with to Oxygen , was going for £388 amazing price for that spec, hopefully will find something like that next year new

IronMan, 10 May 2024But how is the battery and heating?Battery is great on my S24+ Exynos version, easily last just as long as my OnePlus 12 which is good praise considering the OP12 has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Wow, just noticed this: "1/3.94" telephoto sensor??? Yikes.

For video it should say 8K 30fps as well as 1080p 60fps

IronMan, 10 May 2024But how is the battery and heating? It has great battery life as the large battery size plus the efficient new processor makes it last. Depending on how much you use it, it can last 2 to even 3 days. It doesn't get noticeably hot in my experience (I had the LG V40 which literally burnt my leg).
