Upgraded from the watch 4 classic to the watch 6 classic because they brought back the rotating bezel.
After setting it up, dumping the watch faces & apps I do NOT want, turning off wifi, NFC (unless being used), rotate wrist to wake & tap to wake off, HR monitor every 10 minutes, I turn it on before bedtime (10-11pm) and wear it for sleeping, and it stays on until after work (5-6pm). I get A LOT of notifications during the day, and will use it for phone calls as well. I'm getting about the same battery life as I was with the watch 4 classic. Between 2-3 days

Samsung's latest TVs have infrared remote controllers but neither Samsung smartwatches nor Samsung smartwatches have infrared ports since Gear 2 and Note 4. That's why I still have my Gear 2 and Note 4...
I would really like Samsung S24 Ultra Pro Plus Mega and Galaxy Watch 7 Pro Plus Ultra Mega to have infrared port...

Watch 6 Classic for the past 2 weeks. Upgraded from the Watch 4 Classic. The ROTATING bezel was what I hoped they brought back. I keep bluetooth on, wifi off, NFC off unless it is being used, rotate to wake & tap to wake off. Gets turned on at bedtime 10pm, turned off when I get home from work around 6pm. Averaging 2 1/2 to 3 days battery life.

I love the style of watch, rotating bezel, Google Wear OS with Android support. You can sideload .apk files with wireless adb debugging. Google Asistant is nice and easy too. Screen is great. My first Smartwatch is Gear Sport, now it is Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 47 mm Black. Battery is enough for me, max 2 days, with Always on Display max 1 day. If you want a battery, go and buy Huawei watch but there is no support Google apps and maybe no support adb wireless debugging sideload apk files system. This is my opinion.

I have both watch.. GW4C & GW6C.. batery of GW6C so well than GW4C.. but GW6C is more lagging than GW4C maybe it's sortware

Just received mine Thursday. Since I don't own a Samsung phone, I had to install the hack to get all of the features to work (blood pressure & ECG). After that, I charged it over night and then tweaked the settings to how i want and it went back on the charger. I'll wear it to bed and see how much juice it sucks out. My previous watch 4 classic, I know the battery life expectancy so it will be interesting to see how the 6 classic holds out.
I keep rotate to wrist off, tap to wake, rotate bezel to wake off as well. Also, Wifi, NFC are off, bluteooth on 24/7. AOD off. It's on my wrist from 10pm to around 6pm the next day, then I turn it off until 10pm bedtime. I've been getting 2 1/2 to 3 days on the 4 classic.

I have had this watch for over one week i am so disappointed with the battery life, it hardly one day then needs to be charged the next day.
it is a total failure

Max , 14 Aug 2023how is the battery life of watch 6 classicWith Always On turned OO and GPS OFF I'm getting day of usage(43 version).Maybe couple hours tommorow but charging is about 2 hours so I charge it every night...

I'm comparison galaxy watch is like smartphone but in smaller form
