Does polestar own/is owned/has a parent company etc that owns meizu or is in collaboration with them/parent company etc, possibly why theyve done this (or again to release a device quickly without breaking the bank to manufacture).

Not a single negative comment about the fact screen is 21:9.
Another proof that it is not about ratio, it is about being used by sony people considere negative.

I'm not a fan of big phones, but when it comes to design, this phone has my vote.
Very clean and minimal.

Flyme, 27 Apr 2024This is not Android PhoneYes it is, polestar OS is just another version of android with their own featureset for their cars, you think polestar are going to completely design an OS from the ground up using a different custom built linux kernel, or just go full idiot and try running ARM based windows on their phones to use with thwir android OS for their cars?
Their infotainment system, IN THEIR CARS, run polestar 3 which is an android powered OS, but their phones arent? Good luck with connectivity and app usage over 2 completely different OSes then, makes complete sense.
