I completely agree with the prior poster that the screen is excellent for the cost. Perfectly tuned for accurate color reproduction. Utilizing it is incredibly soothing & relaxing to use. It's undoubtedly among the higher quality LCD's in this cost bracket. With that being said, it has several drawbacks. The camera is unpredictable, and the processer struggles with gaming. But as long as one does not have great expectations at this price, it is perfect for casual use. My battery endurance has been very good.

dOTY, 29 Jun 2023Do i understand you correctly, this phone is PWM Flicker free?I have used for 1 week. Best lcd screen ive ever used. No sensitive eyes. Feel such relief finally found phone that i can use for long time. No flicker or pwm at all. Very nice screen. I have in silver color.
But Battery life is not that long. Sometimes recharging 2 per day and speaker volume no good. Video recording is rubbish but photo from main and front cam good. Fast charge is good too. I got discount price. Very happy with screen i love it

And if youvhave pretty sensitive eyes you can also get strain with other things (dithering...the screen calibration etc) so the best thing you can do is to try it before buying.

But I think it's worth the price for Honor. It seems it has fresher software than Xiaomi and Samsung. No offense I like them two. About pwm flicker-free - it's a big yes for me too lol. Really just hoping to see a stereo setup.

Interesting that the dimensity 6020 is reported to only support camera's up to 64MP...
No gyro, no NFC (in some regions), no image/video stabilization, no charger or tpu case (in some regions) - yet a £300 price tag (currently available on promotion for £250).
The design is definitely the best selling point - otherwise, the remainder of the specs are very basic, and other brands offer more for less. Even their own magic5 lite 5G is available for £250, and their magic 4 lite 5g (£199). Both higher specced, yet cheaper.
I guess looks and design appeal to most. You can wrap trash in a pretty glittery case, and people will undoubtedly buy it on first impressions.
