bought 3 yrars back. no os upgradation beyon android 12. camera spec is very good but in practice, pics are not so good. spec online says it's 5G but in fact, mine is 4G only, which I couldn't understand. 3rd party apps can't be installed as the option is permanently disabled by moto. very funny. what if i root it n load linux??

Loi, 23 May 2024Yeah, I don't expect Android 14 but give me Android 13... moreThis software upgrade thing has been going on for quite sometimes and it has never execte.The software developer still couldn't rule out a proper upgrade for Android 13 version not to mentioned Android 14. Couldn't wait anymore, I guess we just have to stuck on Android 12 version forever.

we purchased this phone this month oct 2023. unknowingly we cannot update it to android 12 or 13. the only update we received so far is a security patch date 2021 for android 11. tried going to system update but it says that i already had the latest update. hopefully soon we will be able to receive atleast the android 12 update. by the way we have 2 motorola edge 20 fusion

No updates received so far... moreSo I suppose there will be no future software update from android 12 to android 13 then not just in Aus but the whole globe but India exceptional was that correct? Well that's pretty shame because when I purchase this phone around late 2021 a retailer from JB Hi-Fi said this phone has got security patches update plus software can be updated to android 13 I suppose its all just a retail gimmick.
So far my phone had only went through 7 to 8 security patches updates plus android 12 so I suppose there will be no silver lining hope for android 13 update them. That's very disappointing

Hi,
Just a few things about my experience.
The size of the memory is huge, install all the apps and more. The fact it had a protective case, for free was a huge surprise. It is fast and good at running lots of apps at the same time.
The battery life is very long, I go the whole day and still have heaps left.
However, there are a few things that I have an issue with.
The first being the volume control. When I increase or decrease the volume, it takes a long time to pop up. It's great that it shows volume for multiple apps but it also has the volume control shaded or unselected. It does this even when just one app is active. Real pain as the deselected volume control stays on the screen. You have to increase or decrease the volume to get it active then it moves off the screen.
Another pain with volume control is it doesn't allow for fine grit increments. I tried to find an alternative to replace but you can't.

Great phone it's responsive it's quick ( I've got a review)
The only thing I'd concern myself with is how delicate the screen is.
Beautiful phone otherwise.
So I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on the edge+ in Australia.
Someone please help.
This phone is not actually outdated even though it was released 2021.
Also Motorola are very aware of what good customer service so happy.
